And The New Commonwhealth Youth Light Weight Champion

On Saturday, 7th June 2025, boxing fans witnessed an electrifying bout as rising star Arnie Dawson went head-to-head with Ali “Bomaye” Shah for the prestigious Commonwealth Youth title.

In front of a buzzing crowd, Dawson showcased his skill, power, and composure, dominating the fight from the opening bell. By the fourth round, the pressure proved too much for Shah, as Arnie unleashed a decisive flurry of punches. The referee had seen enough and called a stop to the contest, awarding Dawson a technical knockout (TKO) victory.

This emphatic win not only earned Dawson the title but also cemented his place as one of the brightest young talents in the sport. With fans and pundits alike buzzing about his performance, Arnie Dawson’s future in boxing looks incredibly promising.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be taking our young boxers to compete in three fantastic Box Cup events this summer. These tournaments provide a great opportunity for our athletes to gain valuable experience and showcase their skills on a bigger stage.
